A Night Down Town!

Pappa Jody has been working really hard at the Grand America Hotel to get all the x-mas lights up and working, as well as setting up all the electrical for the new sweets shop! Nanna, Ridge, and I went down one night to get a tour. We ate yummy gillato ice cream in the sweet shop, saw the beautiful lights in the court yard, and got to visit the teddy bear suite! Ridge was such a trooper and loved the car in the teddy bear room. We also took the trax from the hotel to the lights at temple square. It was raining and the trax was a little scary getting on and off with a stroller but we had a fun time and the lights are amazing.!

The big "1"

Ridge turned one on November 12 2010!
He got big boy pajamas, and enjoyed opening gifts from grammy and grandpa great and loved his cake! He didn't even use his hands at first he just took bites...

Trip to Idaho!

Nanna, Ridge and I took a trip to Idaho a couple of months back to hlep aunt Mandi get caught up and have a little break. She is a great artist and got to work on an oil painting for her brother in law. The boys all had a hard time sharing their nanna but enjoyed having company. While I was there Manda also taught me how to can apple pie filling. It is a process but fun!

First time on Santa's Lap

Ridge was so excited to sit on Santa's lap like all the other kids were, but once it was his turn he wasn't so sure about it. He didn't cry at all just sat there with a puzzled look on his face!
Webster had a bow Elk tag so I got to tag along with him and Lance. We took the horses and packed into camp. I only stayed for a couple nights but they stayed for about a week! It was really relaxing to be in the middle of nowhere with no worries.

Lance was able to take me on some really neat horse rides this summer. Lance loves to be out on the horses and I enjoy going along!

We went for a few fun Ranger rides this summer! The car seat fit well in the back seat so Ridge could go along with us!

Ridge is turning ONE!

Ridge is turning ONE!

This past year has gone by so fast. Ridge will be one in three weeks. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home. He has been so busy lately since he is walking now. He seems to find his way into everything.

Angie took his one year pictures for me and they turned out really cute. We took them in Grandma and Grandpa Great's field. She does great work!

***July 24th***

On the 24th of July we went to the traditional Wallsburg parade... Ridge loved to watch all the kids on bikes, four wheelers, horses. After the parade we met up with Lance and his boys and went to Clint and Cherish's house for a BBQ. We had a lot of fun! klay came up with his son Casey and the boys were so excited to see eachother. It was a perfect summer day!

Little Man on the Move

Now that Ridge can crawl he is into everything. My mom watches him while I am at work but she keeps a good journal for me of the trouble he causes in a day! He is so darn cute it is hard to be mad at him...

***JULY 4TH***

So again it has been a while since I posted an update! I will just start from the top.... On the 4th of July we went golfing. Apperently you aren't supposed to take kids but since Ridge is so darn cute we talked the ranger into letting us take him on the course just the one time! It was kind of a rainy day but we had a good time. Ridge got tired and fell asleep at the end!

Lagoon Day

My work gave us the opportunity to buy Lagoon ticket's at a discount price so Lance, Trae, Drayden, and I all went for the afternoon. It was a really warm day but the boys had a lot of fun. Trae and Lance went on all the rollercoasters together and I watched Drayden on all the kid's rides. I think that Drayden would have gone on all the roller coaster's if he had been taller. He wasn't scared of anything :)

Now that summer finally decided to show up Ridge LOVES to be outside. He likes to go for rides in his stroller and to eat otter pop's when it get's really warm. He had his first experience on the swing set at our house and he loved it. I didn't think I was going to get him out of it.

My Un-Birthday

I have really been slacking on updating my blog so I have a few things to update. Ridge is growing so fast and he learns something every day! I am so lucky to be blessed with such an amazing little man...

I had been having a tough time with juggling being a mom, working full time, and keeping up the house. Lance could tell that I was having a hard time so he threw me an "un birthday"! He really made me stop and see how truly important the little things are.
